About The Position
The Delivery Driver upholds Domino's standards for grooming, uniform, and appearance while delivering quality customer service to internal and external customers, both over the phone and in person. The role includes collecting cash and credit card payments, promoting pizza products and specials, and supporting store operations through cross-training in product and ingredient preparation, opening and closing procedures, oven operation, and boxing products for delivery or carryout. The driver checks products for accuracy against quality standards, responds promptly to store phones and carryout customers, and contributes to a teamwork-focused, energetic, and fun atmosphere. The role also requires compliance with applicable vehicle and driving laws and company rules, and ensuring that the delivery vehicle is mechanically and physically sound, registered, and insured at all times.
Requirements
- Speak and write clearly and accurately.
- Demonstrate comprehension of a computer-based order entry system.
- Comply with applicable state and federal vehicle and driving laws, rules, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Uphold Domino's grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
- Collect cash and credit card payments.
- Promote pizza products and specials.
- Receive cross-training in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and boxing products for delivery or carryout.
- Check products for accuracy against quality standards.
- Respond with a sense of urgency to store phone calls and carryout customers.
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers over the phone and in person.
- Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
- Follow all state and federal vehicle and driving laws, rules, and regulations.
- Follow all rules and regulations of Domino's Pizza, LLC and Tylaur, Inc.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is mechanically and physically sound and properly registered and insured at all times.
