As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing inventory
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of local area and routes is preferred
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus
- Familiarity with delivery management software is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport pizzas to designated locations
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Process payments and handle cash transactions when required
- Collaborate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
- Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
