About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone looking for a primary job or supplemental work. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and also perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing phone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role may offer opportunities to advance into management and other positions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders using verbal, writing, and telephone skills.
- Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Be able to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, carrying products during deliveries, and navigating stairs when required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
- Navigate to addresses, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, and carry products while walking or climbing.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers to take and process orders by phone and in person.
- Unload and move product deliveries, stock shelves, and perform other store tasks as needed.
