About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver pizzas and other products to customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression into management. Drivers may also perform general store team-member duties, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

The job involves driving to customer locations and delivering products to their doors, as well as distributing flyers and door hangers. Team members work in a store environment with exposure to changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Delivery work may involve adverse weather, stairs, and other challenging terrain. The position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and bending, and may involve lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to carry products during delivery and navigate stairs; delivery routes may require climbing five or more flights.
• Ability to lift and handle product cases weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and other products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and to their doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment and prepare products.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
