About The Position

Aaron’s Delivery Drivers are an integral part of creating positive customer experiences in a fast-paced, store-based role. The job involves driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, demonstrating product use to customers, supporting day-to-day store operations, and connecting with customers in the community. Drivers work both inside and outside the store and must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age for positions in the United States or at least 18 years of age in Canada.
Valid driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory driving record.
Must be able to obtain DOT certification if required at the position’s location in the United States.
Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.
Solid communication skills.
Working knowledge of electronics.
Desire to make a positive difference for customers.

Nice To Haves

Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
Support the team with day-to-day store operations and connect with customers in the community.
