About The Position
Accurately and efficiently deliver orders to customers, receive and process telephone and internet orders, and clean equipment and the facility. The role includes on-the-job training in customer service, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. Customer service requires verbal and written communication with customers and co-workers by phone and in person. Delivery duties require safely driving your own vehicle, navigating roads and maps, and traversing adverse terrain and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products. The role also requires performing arithmetic accurately to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing ladders or stairs, stooping or bending, crouching or squatting, reaching, grasping, using machines, tools, equipment, and work aids, and tolerating varying conditions indoors and outdoors.
Requirements
- Ability to safely drive own vehicle.
- Ability to navigate roads and maps, and traverse adverse terrain and stairs while carrying products.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers by phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change.
- Ability to perform the stated physical activities and tolerate varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
