About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes in-store duties, such as helping prepare products, process orders, stock ingredients, take inventory, and clean equipment and the facility. Full training is provided. The position emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and the opportunity to develop a career within Domino’s.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Physical ability to drive, stand, walk short distances, lift and carry supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, push or pull trays on dollies, occasionally climb stairs or a ladder, bend, crouch or squat, and reach continuously.
• Ability to use hands continuously and frequently use one or both hands; shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
• Help with other in-store tasks as needed.
