About The Position

Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car and to customers' doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership. Training and orientation are provided on the job. Drivers must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards, and have access to an insured vehicle for deliveries. They need to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites. General store team-member duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves standing, walking, carrying pizzas and beverages, and sometimes climbing stairs, including five or more flights during deliveries. Store and delivery conditions may include adverse weather, temperature changes, cramped spaces, food odors, dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Other physical tasks include lifting, pushing or pulling trays, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements and use hands continuously for work tasks.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to carry products and beverages while walking and climbing, and navigate stairs that may include five or more flights.
Be able to lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the other physical tasks described, including pushing or pulling trays, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
