About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers customer orders and also assists with in-store duties when not on the road. Domino’s provides full training, and drivers may help with deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store tasks. The position is described as an opportunity to develop a career within the company, with potential paths from delivery driving to management and franchise ownership. Applicants must be able to close at least three nights per week and be available to close on weekends.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have held a driver's license for at least two years.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Provide proof of current car insurance that lists the applicant as a covered driver.
• Have a safe driving record meeting company standards and meet minimum Motor Vehicle Report standards.
• Pass a background check.
• Have a friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Be able to close at least three nights per week and close on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
