About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products safely and promptly while providing quality customer service in person and over the phone. The role also supports store operations through cross-training in food preparation, opening and closing procedures, order processing, inventory, cleaning, and other duties. Work conditions vary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle for delivery and be listed as an insured driver on that vehicle.
• Must have navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses within designated delivery areas, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Must be able to speak and write clearly and use a computer-based order-entry system.

Responsibilities

• Collect cash and credit card payments and coupons for delivered items.
• Check products for accuracy and quality before delivery, and carry orders to customers safely and promptly.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle passes mechanical and visual inspections.
• Maintain company standards for grooming, uniform, and appearance.
• Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
• Cross-train in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and boxing products for delivery or carryout.
• Respond promptly to store phone lines and assist carryout customers.
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers in person and over the phone.
• Contribute to a teamwork-focused, energetic, and fun atmosphere.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associate paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Operate all equipment.
