About The Position

Coastal Concord Logistics, LLC is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver packages to residences and businesses throughout the delivery area. Routes originate from the Delivery Center in Elk Grove, California. Company delivery vans are provided, and uniforms are provided. Drivers work independently in their vehicles and are expected to prioritize safety and customer satisfaction. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are mentioned; advancement to full-time may follow an attendance and performance review. A leader and management program offers drivers the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and earn extra pay.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid physical driver's license; temporary licenses and DMV receipts are not accepted.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must pass a motor vehicle record check as determined by Coastal Concord Logistics, LLC; the posting specifies no DWI, DUI, or more than two points on the driving record.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have a valid and active work visa, with identification provided at hire.
Must speak fluent English for safety reasons.
Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds, get in and out of a van, and walk up and down stairs throughout the shift.
Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
Must be available to work one weekend day.
Must have time-management skills and a willingness to work hard.
No prior experience is needed.

Responsibilities

Operate a delivery vehicle safely at all times.
Use a handheld device to access customer delivery information.
Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.

Work in varying weather conditions.
