About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow into management or other positions. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking and preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facilities. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances for short durations.
• Ability to lift and stack deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Ability to carry supplies, including items weighing up to 30 pounds, and trays of dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
• Ability to push or pull trays on a dolly, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
• Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigational skills.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
• Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
• Move trays on dollies and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for tasks such as changing sign prices, washing walls, or maintenance.
