About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment; stocks and rotates ingredients from delivery to storage, work areas, or the walk-in cooler; prepares products; receives and processes telephone and internet orders; and cleans equipment and the facility. The role includes customer service and delivery duties, such as communicating with customers and coworkers in person and by phone, safely driving the employee’s own vehicle, navigating roads and maps, and carrying products across delivery-site terrain and stairs. On-the-job training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. The posting is for full-time and part-time team members.

Requirements

• Minimum one-year driving record; two years for applicants age 18 or under.
• Ability to safely drive own vehicle.
• Ability to navigate roads and maps, adverse terrain, and delivery-site stairs while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change; may use a calculator.
• Ability to perform the stated physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing ladders or stairs, stooping or bending, crouching or squatting, reaching, and grasping with hands to use machines, tools, equipment, and work aids.
• Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and conditions inside and outside.
