We are looking for a full-time Delivery Driver to join our team at Fresh Prep!

Requirements

  • You’re organized and pay attention to detail.
  • You have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • You have your own smartphone with a 3G or better data plan that you can use for work.
  • You’re legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • You can pass a background check.
  • You’re able to lift 30lbs repeatedly.
  • You’re able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and loading Fresh Prep orders in a company-owned vehicle
  • Delivering Fresh Prep orders in a safe and timely manner within set delivery times
  • Returning collected cooler bags and undelivered orders to the warehouse
  • Representing Fresh Prep’s brand on shift
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to deliver various products
  • Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle
  • Deliver products over established routes
  • Ensure correct loading of vehicle
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding the delivery of goods
  • Communicate with central dispatch
  • Loading and unloading products in a safe manner, using provided tools as appropriate (e.g. dollies, etc.)
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form
  • Loading and unloading of vehicle
  • Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure
  • Ensure that material is properly protected from the outdoor elements
  • Deliver product to our customers in a courteous and timely manner
  • Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
  • Communicate directly with supervisor for oil changes and other routine maintenance
  • Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.

  • Schedule of: Thursday & Saturday (11AM - 7PM), Sunday, Monday, & Wednesday (9AM - 5PM)
