About The Position

VAZ Restaurants, LLC. is seeking qualified Domino’s delivery drivers for its growing group of franchise locations. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may periodically assist with in-store tasks such as food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and processing orders. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers opportunities for advancement, including into management or franchise ownership.

Drivers must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license and at least two years of documented licensed driving history in the United States, meet the company’s driving-record standards, and be listed on the insurance policy for a registered, insured vehicle that meets safety standards. The position pays $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Availability to work weekends and holidays is mandatory.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years; a suspension cannot be at the start of the two-year period.
• Must meet the stated driving-record standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Must have no distracted or inattentive driving violations within the last three years and no serious violations within the past five years.
• Must have access to a registered, insured vehicle that meets safety standards and be listed on its insurance policy.
• Must have a safe driving record meeting company standards and pass periodic delivery vehicle inspections.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays; this is mandatory.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, navigate adverse terrain, and carry products while making deliveries.
• Must have customer service, communication, navigational, verbal, written, and telephone skills.
• Must be able to follow written instructions, process orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and make accurate monetary change.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
• Must be able to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces and have the vision and hearing abilities described for the work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
• Help with in-store tasks periodically, including food preparation and cleaning.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Use a hand truck to unload bulk product deliveries.
