About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in the local delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main job, supplemental work, or a job alongside school or other activities. Team members may have opportunities to advance into management and other roles, including franchise ownership. The position also includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
- Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Have the motor coordination and vision needed to make precise movements and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Be able to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Be able to meet the physical requirements described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and infrequent stair or ladder climbing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate customer addresses.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage areas.
