About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products to customers safely and on time, using a personal vehicle. The role also provides customer service in person and over the phone, supports carryout customers, promotes products and specials, and may be cross-trained in food preparation and store opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Proof of liability insurance for the driver and vehicle.
Navigational skills to read maps and locate delivery addresses.
Ability to speak and write clearly and use a computer-based order entry system.

Responsibilities

Collect cash and credit card payments and coupons for delivered items.
Read maps, quickly determine directions, and locate delivery addresses.
Check products against quality standards and ensure accurate, safe, and timely delivery.
Ensure the delivery vehicle passes mechanical and visual inspections.
Meet the company's grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
Receive cross-training in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and boxing products for delivery or carryout.
Respond promptly to store phone lines and assist carryout customers.
Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers by phone and in person.
Use a computer-based order entry system and communicate clearly in speech and writing.
Contribute to and promote a teamwork-focused, energetic, and fun atmosphere.
Deliver flyers and door hangers using a personal vehicle.
