About The Position

Domino’s is hiring qualified Delivery Drivers to deliver orders in their designated area. Drivers may also assist with in-store tasks such as food preparation, cleaning, stocking, taking inventory, processing telephone orders, and operating equipment. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. Compensation is $16.78 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Applicants must meet the company’s age, licensing, driving-record, vehicle, and insurance requirements. The position involves customer interaction, order processing, navigating delivery locations and challenging terrain, and performing a range of physical tasks in a restaurant environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation available.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years; the suspension cannot be at the start of the two-year period.
Must have no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations within the last three years and no serious violations within the past five years.
Must have access to a registered, insured vehicle that can be used for delivery and be listed as an insured driver on its policy.
Must meet company standards for safe driving and pass periodic delivery vehicle inspections.
Must have customer service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain.
Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers and comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Must have basic math skills, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Must be able to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or a ladder occasionally, and reaching, bending, crouching, and using hands continuously.
Must be able to work in conditions including varying and adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
Assist with food preparation, cleaning, stocking ingredients and supplies, and other in-store tasks.
Operate equipment and prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Unload and move product deliveries, including lifting and stacking supplies.
Use a hand truck, move trays on dollies, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
Maintain a safe vehicle for business use and participate in periodic delivery vehicle inspections.
