About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in the designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential progression into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may distribute flyers and door hangers. Team members also perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves working in a food-service environment with exposure to changing weather and temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies and products, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving. Drivers may need to navigate multi-story buildings and carry deliveries up several flights of stairs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within a designated delivery area and bring them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including communicating with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries, using a hand truck as needed.
Navigate delivery routes and customer locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
