About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s orders to customers’ homes and businesses within a designated delivery area, providing timely service and a positive customer experience. The role involves safely driving and navigating to delivery locations, processing cash and card transactions, maintaining accurate delivery records, and representing the brand professionally. During non-delivery periods, the driver assists with in-store work such as food preparation, cleaning, and customer service. The position requires following traffic laws and company safety policies and working with team members during busy periods. The role involves repeated physical activity, including carrying pizzas and beverages, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. It also includes bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use for in-store tasks. Drivers may encounter varying and adverse weather conditions and need far and night vision for driving.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Have access to a reliable, insured vehicle for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
Have strong customer service and communication skills.
Have basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Be physically able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
Be proficient in using digital devices for order processing and navigation.
Have time-management skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Be a positive team player willing to assist with in-store duties.
Be detail-oriented to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Be able to multitask and prioritize deliveries effectively.
Have sufficient far and night vision for driving.
Be able to perform the physical activities described, including carrying, walking, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
