About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main job, supplemental work, or a job alongside school. Team members may have opportunities to advance into management and other roles, including franchise ownership.

The driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors and distributes flyers and door hangers. The position also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory and paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

The role involves working in a store and driving within a designated delivery area, with exposure to changing and sometimes adverse weather. Physical activities include standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, reaching, bending, and occasional stair or ladder climbing. Delivery work may require carrying food and beverages and climbing five or more flights of stairs. Store conditions may include cramped spaces, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and occasional climbing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Carry pizzas and beverages during delivery and travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
