About The Position

Factory Motor Parts is seeking a reliable, safety-minded Delivery Driver who provides exceptional customer service. The driver serves as the “Face of Factory Motor Parts,” delivering merchandise safely, promptly, and professionally to create a positive customer experience and satisfy customers. The role calls for strong organization, time-management, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain professional, cooperative relationships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Valid Class C or D driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read a map or understand the geographic area.
• Demonstrated ability to drive safely in various road conditions, which may include transporting hazardous materials.
• Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain professional, cooperative relationships with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely, courteously, and defensively.
• Communicate professionally with customers at their locations.
• Set up customer returns accurately.
• Participate in yearly physical inventories.
• Deliver merchandise in a safe, prompt, and professional manner.
