About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products within a designated delivery area. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also distribute flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

In addition to driving and deliveries, team members may perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, handling payments, and working in a fast-paced store environment.

Work may involve exposure to variable weather, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and changing temperatures. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and reaching. During deliveries, team members carry pizzas and beverages and may need to climb five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, including by telephone and in person.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Enter and process orders, communicate with customers and coworkers, and handle monetary change.
• Carry products during deliveries and travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
