About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and helps with in-store work when not making deliveries. Domino’s provides training for deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store tasks. The role involves customer service and teamwork, with opportunities to pursue other roles within the company.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle to use for deliveries.
• Provide proof of car insurance.
• Have a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Be able to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, along with the physical tasks described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
