About The Position

The Delivery Driver completes and delivers food orders safely and without damage, while providing customers with a positive experience. When not making deliveries, the driver is trained to take orders by phone, face to face, and computer, and performs other entry-level store duties, including cash handling, cleaning, and stocking. The role requires using and properly storing Domino’s-issued equipment. Work may involve varying and sometimes adverse weather, driving on the road, and handling and moving food ingredients and supplies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license in good standing; it must not be suspended, revoked, or restricted.
• Must have a driving record that meets Domino’s standards; driving records are reviewed before employment.
• Must show proof of and maintain auto liability insurance before employment and every month thereafter.
• Must be able to accurately take phone, face-to-face, and computer orders.
• Must be able to handle cash effectively, reconcile cash, and make correct change.
• Must be able to use Domino’s-specific equipment issued for the role.
• Must be able to unload and handle supplies, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds and measuring up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet; lift cases from the floor and stack them on shelves up to 72 inches high; carry 3-pound, 7-ounce cans; and carry pizza dough trays weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
• Must be able to push a dolly holding approximately 24–30 trays, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.

Responsibilities

• Complete food orders before leaving the store.
• Know the store’s delivery area and read area maps.
• Drive safely to and from delivery locations and deliver undamaged products.
• Greet customers in the restaurant or at their homes and project a positive image.
• Take pizza orders by phone, face to face, and computer when not making deliveries.
• Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and provide correct change.
• Use, display, return, and properly store Domino’s-issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
• Assist with keeping the store clean and stocked and perform duties similar to other entry-level employees.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
• Lift and store cases of ingredients and supplies, carry large cans and pizza dough trays, and move trays on dollies.
