About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression to management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment; stocking ingredients and supplies; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves standing for most tasks, frequent reaching and hand use, and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, and climbing. Delivery work includes carrying pizzas and beverages, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. Drivers encounter varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions; store work may involve temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers by telephone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make accurate movements with speed; frequent use of hands is required.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical duties described, including carrying products during deliveries and climbing stairs when required.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries and walk between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
• Perform other general duties required of store team members.
