About The Position
The Delivery Driver delivers products to customers safely and promptly, collects payments and coupons, and provides quality customer service in person and over the phone. The role also supports store operations through cross-training in food preparation, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and packaging products for delivery or carryout. Drivers use a personal vehicle and must meet the company’s driving and insurance requirements.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Proof of liability insurance for the driver and vehicle.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate delivery addresses.
- Ability to speak and write clearly.
- Ability to use a computer-based order entry system.
Responsibilities
- Collect cash and credit card payments and coupons for delivered items.
- Read maps, determine directions, and locate delivery addresses.
- Check products for accuracy against quality standards and deliver them safely and promptly.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle passes mechanical and visual inspections.
- Maintain Domino’s grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
- Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
- Receive cross-training in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and packaging products for delivery or carryout.
- Respond promptly to store phone lines and assist carryout customers.
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers in person and over the phone.
- Deliver products, flyers, and door hangers using a personal vehicle.
- Contribute to and promote a teamwork-oriented, energetic, and fun atmosphere.
