About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and provide friendly customer service. Drivers also help with in-store work when not making deliveries, including preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The company provides training for delivery and in-store tasks. The role may offer opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with cases up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet, and to carry other supplies as described.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Depth perception, talking and hearing on the telephone, and near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
• Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
