About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a delivery driver to deliver orders and perform general store-team duties. The position offers $15.50 plus tips and mileage reimbursement, with a flexible schedule. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role may offer opportunities for advancement into management and other positions, depending on the employee’s goals. In addition to deliveries, team members operate equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. The job involves working in varying store temperatures and weather, handling food and supplies, and interacting with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and have been licensed to drive for at least 2 years.
Must have a safe driving record meeting company standards, with fewer than 2 points on the driving record within the past 2 years.
Must have access to an insured vehicle usable for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with speed and accuracy.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the physical tasks described for the role.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including taking orders in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage or shelves.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
