About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to transport orders using their own vehicles. Drivers receive an hourly wage, paid weekly, as well as tips and mileage reimbursement paid at the end of each shift. Part-time work and flexible schedules are available. The store is currently seeking drivers who can work rush, late, or closing shifts. Training is provided. Full-time employees may become eligible for health benefits after six months. Applicants must meet the stated age and driving-history requirements and satisfy company driving-record and compliance standards. The position involves safely maneuvering a vehicle in close quarters and congested traffic and frequently lifting up to 20 pounds. Food or beverage transport experience is a plus.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license; learner’s permits are not accepted as a substitute for an officially stated license.
- At least two years of verifiable driving history for applicants who are 18. The posting also specifies that a 19-year-old must have at least one year of driving history immediately preceding the MVR evaluation.
- Consistent work history.
- Ability to meet company compliance requirements regarding MVR, DOT, CSA, and/or criminal background checks.
- Driving record must meet company limits: no more than two driving-related violations in the preceding two years, no more than three in the preceding three years, and no more than one at-fault accident in the preceding three years.
- Applicants with specified disqualifying violations—including leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing, or eluding an officer—are not eligible to drive for Domino’s.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently.
- Ability to safely maneuver a vehicle in close quarters and heavily congested traffic areas.
