About The Position

This part-time position is based at the Fresh Foods Distribution Warehouse in Lititz and requires work on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The wage is $18.00 an hour. The role combines warehouse work with deliveries and pickups for Fresh Foods retail locations. Duties include receiving and organizing merchandise, picking produce and grocery orders for supermarkets, loading and transporting products, maintaining equipment and the truck, and performing cleaning and general maintenance tasks. Employees are occasionally exposed to outdoor weather and frequently exposed to extreme cold while working in coolers.

Requirements

Successfully complete a DOT physical and drug test as required by DOT regulations.
Hold a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition and subtraction with multiple-digit numbers and units of weight or American currency.
Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Clean the department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases, and keep products and supplies organized.
Receive, open, and unpack merchandise cartons and crates, checking invoices against items received.
Promptly clear the floor of restocking equipment and debris.
Unload products from delivery trucks and transport them to the sales floor or storage area.
Pick produce and grocery orders for delivery to supermarkets.
Package merchandise according to departmental guidelines.
Maintain and operate equipment, such as an electric jack and forklift.
Maintain the cleanliness of the truck.
Perform general warehouse and property maintenance duties as needed.
Deliver and pick up merchandise for Fresh Foods retail locations.
