About The Position

Transport Sheetz products to various Sheetz stores in a safe and timely manner. Load and unload products safely, maintain product temperature and integrity, inspect the truck, report incidents and delays, and accurately complete required paperwork. Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable federal, state, and local motor vehicle regulations. The role requires interstate travel eligibility and operation of a company vehicle.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to engage in interstate travel.
• At least 5 years of driving experience.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card) in accordance with DOT guidelines; must obtain and maintain it after a job offer.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior when interacting with customers and Sheetz employees.
• Load and unload products safely while minimizing the risk of damage; verify products are held and delivered at appropriate temperatures to maintain their integrity, appearance, and safety.
• Inspect the truck for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips, and submit a written vehicle-condition report at the end of each trip.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with federal, state, and local regulations for safe motor vehicle operation.
• Report all accidents involving the driver and/or company vehicle.
• Report delays caused by breakdowns, weather, traffic, or other emergencies, and report irregularities with pickups or deliveries.
• Accurately complete all paperwork related to truck operations and movements.
