About The Position

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor of MBG South Carolina, the Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for driving and delivering pre-ordered products to assigned accounts, rotating and stocking products, and performing various warehouse duties. This role requires a professional with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid South Carolina Driver’s License required.
  • 1-3 years of general work experience preferred.
  • Local delivery experience preferred.
  • Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Driving record must be within MVR policy guidelines.
  • Ability to work out of town, as well as early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Employees are expected to remain on duty until all assigned responsibilities are completed.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and DOT compliance requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned handheld unit to create and correctly place labels on products.
  • Hand-select orders within various warehouse environments, including non-temperature controlled, temperature controlled, and bonded holding areas.
  • Stack products on pallets following proper selecting procedures (e.g., do not stack heavy on light product, labels must face out).
  • Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products.
  • Stage selected pallets for loading at proper dock locations.
  • Shrink-wrap products on the loading dock.
  • Check the accuracy and stability of the load.
  • Deliver products to customers.
  • Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
  • Invoice and collect monies due from customers.
  • Pick up company property as required.
  • Secure company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  • Settle all accounts daily.
  • Follow MBG preferred work methods and immediately report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to sanitation requirements to comply with MBG policies.
  • Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including pallet jack, handheld unit, and personal protective equipment.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and safely operate all mechanical equipment.
  • Attend all required company and safety meetings.
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to strategize and solve issues that disrupt goal achievement.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and department leaders.
