About The Position

Continental Battery Systems is hiring for a multifaceted operations role focused on providing a positive customer experience while safely managing deliveries, warehouse operations, and retail sales. The employee will handle vehicle deliveries, warehouse and inventory tasks, customer sales and service, and battery-related work. The role also supports safety, team training, and process improvement. The position pays $19–$20 and includes a $300 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

AA degree or equivalent.
Motor vehicle record with little to no safety concerns within the past three years.
Meet the required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Values (KSAVs).
At least one year working for the company as a Delivery Driver-2, Material Handler-2, or Retail Sales Rep-2; or at least three years of experience elsewhere in a driver, warehouse associate, or retail capacity.

Nice To Haves

GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

Safely drive a Class B or C vehicle (CDL not required) to make deliveries, support customer purchases, manage and replenish consignments, recover used batteries, and perform customer installations. Some deliveries may require DOT hours-of-service records and medical clearance.
Perform shipping, receiving, labeling, loading, inventory control, used-battery reconditioning, and general battery maintenance.
Sell goods and provide customer service in person, by phone, and by email.
Follow safe driving and forklift practices and use material-handling equipment and processes safely.
Accurately record successful processes and procedures.
Assist in training team members.
Identify opportunities to improve daily operations.
