About The Position

Continental Battery Systems is seeking an energetic, customer-focused employee for a multifaceted role combining delivery driving, warehouse operations, and retail sales. The position is focused on providing a positive customer experience while managing deliveries and warehouse tasks safely, supporting retail sales, and contributing to process improvements. The role involves driving a class B or C vehicle; a CDL is not required. Some deliveries may require DOT hours-of-service records and medical clearance. The employee also handles shipping, receiving, inventory, battery reconditioning and maintenance, customer service, and the safe use of forklifts and other material-handling equipment. The position supports accurate documentation, team training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• AA degree or equivalent.
• Motor Vehicle Record with little to no safety concerns within the past 3 years.
• Meet the required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Values (KSAVs).
• Either at least 1 year working for the company in a Delivery Driver-2, Material Handler-2, or Retail Sales Rep-2 capacity, or at least 3 years working elsewhere in a driver, warehouse associate, or retail capacity.

Nice To Haves

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a class B or C vehicle to make regular deliveries; a CDL is not required.
• Support customer purchases, manage and replenish consignments, recover used batteries, and perform customer installations.
• Perform shipping, receiving, labeling, loading, inventory control, used-battery reconditioning, and general battery maintenance.
• Sell goods and provide customer service on the selling floor, by phone, and by email.
• Use safe driving and forklift practices and demonstrate expertise with material-handling equipment and processes.
• Accurately record processes and procedures, assist in training team members, and identify ways to improve daily operations.
