We have a great opportunity for an experienced Delivery Driver & Logistics Specialist to join our team in the San Jose, California location.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence and good/clean driving record is required.
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including data entry skills
  • Must demonstrate good attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in shipping, receiving, and delivery driving
  • Prior experience working with Shipping Software such as FedEx and/or UPS.
  • Previous experience in dealing with customers

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and Delivery of Customer Equipment
  • Drive a Trescal van to perform delivery and/or pickups to transport materials and/or equipment to, from, and between customer facilities
  • Responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle before and/or after deliveries and pickups
  • Inventory client assets upon pick-up
  • Identify vehicle maintenance needs
  • Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of their assigned areas or vehicles
  • Responsible to maintain records as required by the quality system
  • Appropriately package and ship equipment to our customers and vendors. You will verify that accessories and options are documented according to shipping policies.
  • Receive, unpack, and account for the contents of all inbound orders.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against documentation and identify discrepancies and damage with incoming shipments.
  • Research and implement shipping options for unusual packaging situations or customer requirements.
  • Receive and handle vendor deliveries, completing paperwork as needed.
  • Keeps Trescal’s ERP System up to date with pertinent shipping and receiving information.
  • Enter a variety of data using current technology, helping to maintain asset and customer information accuracy.
  • Initiate and manage shipping claims through to resolution, including maintaining contact with delivery service and the affected customer as required.
  • Use UPS (Worldship) and Fed-Ex to generate shipping labels.
  • Maintain relationships with UPS, FedEx, and any other relevant parcel sales contacts.
  • Performs database equipment entry and validations.
  • Verify manufacturer/model/serial numbers
  • Equipment identification and customer requirement verifications
  • All other duties as assigned
