Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Candidates must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally more.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain balance and coordination while maneuvering a loaded two-wheel cart down ramps.
• Regular attendance is crucial.
• Must successfully complete a background check, MVR, pre-employment lift evaluations, and pre-employment DOT drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• No prior experience is necessary.
• Keen interest in pursuing a CDL A license and a delivery driver career is highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manually unloading products using a two-wheel cart on metal truck ramps.
• Checking customer invoices and completing essential temperature checks.
• Performing safety inspections of the truck and trailer.
• Establishing effective relationships within the department and community.
• Working towards obtaining your Class A permit within 30-60 days.
• Preparing for the Class A license test.
• Taking on additional assignments as directed by management.
