About The Position

Rinse is the first and largest national brand in clothing care, aiming to provide a vastly better laundry and dry cleaning experience through smart scheduling, exceptional quality, and in-house logistics powered by a robust technology infrastructure. The company is backed by leading VCs and CEOs and is currently expanding nationwide. This role is a core member of the Local Operations team in New York, responsible for executing delivery routes and leading valet training sessions. The goal is to ensure customer orders are delivered safely and on time, while also training and onboarding new Valets to meet Rinse's high standards. This dual-role position serves as the primary contact for new drivers, instilling company culture and expectations. There are growth opportunities for high performers interested in broader Operations responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR required).
  • Comfortable driving a personal vehicle and/or a rented van in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 45–50 pounds.
  • Available to consistently work Friday–Tuesday evenings.
  • Reliable with perfect or near-perfect attendance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Organized and able to complete administrative tasks independently.
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Must submit to and pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college education preferred.
  • Preferably have access to a 4-door vehicle.
  • Previous experience in delivery, logistics, training, teaching, or coaching is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up training computers and classroom materials on training days.
  • Welcome new Valets and represent Rinse culture.
  • Administer classroom training sessions.
  • Run On-The-Road Training with new Rinse Valets.
  • Lead classroom debrief sessions.
  • Ensure new hires understand customer service standards, delivery expectations, and safety protocols.
  • Complete training documentation and administrative follow-up.
  • Support hybrid warehouse work during early surge.
  • Drive delivery routes.
  • Assist with end-of-shift hybrid operational tasks.
  • Deliver exceptional, on-time customer service.
  • Communicate clearly with Operations and Customer Care regarding any on-the-road issues.
