About The Position

Bridgenext is seeking a highly strategic and relationship-driven Delivery Director to lead and expand a key client partnership within a leading global insurance and wealth/asset management enterprise. This senior, client-facing role focuses on shaping the long-term presence within a complex, multi-business-unit enterprise account. The Delivery Director will be Bridgenext’s on-the-ground leader, responsible for building executive relationships, shaping transformation roadmaps, and identifying new opportunities across various technology domains including engineering, cloud, enterprise data and analytics, AI and GenAI platforms, and digital application initiatives. The role requires a blend of consultative leadership, deep domain expertise in insurance and wealth/asset management, executive presence, and delivery oversight to ensure programs deliver business outcomes and foster partnership growth. This position is ideal for a seasoned consulting leader experienced at the intersection of business strategy, technology transformation, domain expertise, and trusted-advisor client engagement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in consulting, digital transformation, multi-practice delivery, or strategic account management.
Proven track record owning end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream transformation programs, with full accountability for budget, timeline, and quality outcomes.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large enterprise accounts within the insurance or wealth/asset management industry — life insurance, annuities, retirement, or group benefits.
Demonstrated success growing strategic client relationships and expanding portfolios across multiple service lines.
Hands-on experience across one or more of: Cloud modernization, Salesforce, Enterprise Data & Analytics, AI / GenAI platforms, Digital Applications, Engineering, or CX.
Strong working knowledge of the financial services, insurance and/or wealth/asset management industry — products such as life insurance, annuities, retirement plans, and group benefits; distribution models including captive agents, independent broker-dealers, and financial advisors; regulatory environment (NAIC, state insurance regulation, SEC/FINRA); and policy administration, underwriting, or in-force management systems, as well as investment/fund management platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin or SimCorp.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience operating across business, delivery, and sales functions.
Strong technical background in digital technologies, data analytics, engineering, cloud, and digital transformation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Strong team and individual player, collaborative by nature.
Maintains composure across complex client situations and competing priorities.
High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results.
Self-sufficient and independent, requiring very little supervision or intervention.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with US-based life insurance, annuity, retirement, or wealth/asset management carriers.
Understanding of enterprise governance, compliance, and regulated delivery environments.
Familiarity with managed team and product-operating-model engagements.
Exposure to AI / GenAI delivery, policy administration modernization, audit and risk platforms, and enterprise data product strategy.
Cloud, Data, or AI/GenAI certifications preferred; insurance or investment industry certifications (e.g., LOMA, FLMI, CLU, CFA) a plus.
Familiarity with the account’s broader technology landscape a plus: Databricks, GitHub Copilot, and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

Serve as the senior Bridgenext leader aligned to a strategic enterprise account within the insurance and wealth/asset management industry.
Build trusted-advisor relationships with technology, business, architecture, operations, risk, and transformation executives.
Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with the client’s enterprise priorities and modernization roadmap.
Identify and shape new opportunities across engineering, cloud modernization, enterprise data and analytics platforms, AI-enabled business solutions, digital applications, and CX initiatives.
Own end-to-end delivery accountability across active programs, including program financials, margin, and staffing/resourcing decisions.
Ensure programs are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards, while aligning to business outcomes and governance expectations.
Own risk management, prioritization, staffing strategy, and escalation management.
Collaborate with delivery managers and program leaders to maintain execution excellence.
Operate effectively with executive leadership, steering committees, and enterprise architects.
Facilitate governance forums, transformation reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Provide leadership escalation support and executive-level communication across business and technology stakeholders.
Ensure strong customer satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
Bring industry perspective across life insurance, annuities, retirement, wealth/asset management, AI, data, and digital transformation trends.
Help clients define modernization roadmaps and operating models.
Introduce reusable frameworks, accelerators, and strategic solution patterns from across the Bridgenext portfolio.
