About The Position

SONIFI Health delivers interactive technology proven to improve patient experience, health outcomes and hospital productivity. SONIFI Health provides interactive services to over 30,000 rooms across 130 hospitals throughout the United States. Hospitals partner with SONIFI Health because of our vast engagement and integration expertise. Help healthcare organizations maximize the value of their patient engagement technology while building long-term strategic partnerships. We're looking for a Director of Strategic Accounts who will serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, driving customer retention, adoption, and growth across an assigned portfolio of health systems and hospitals. This is a highly consultative role that combines executive relationship management, strategic planning, customer advocacy, and commercial partnership to ensure customers achieve meaningful outcomes while expanding their investment in SONIFI Health solutions. Travel: Approximately 30% travel is required throughout the United States, including customer site visits, executive business reviews, strategic planning meetings, and other customer engagement activities.

Requirements

Customer-focused account leader with a proven ability to build executive relationships, manage complex healthcare customers, and deliver measurable business outcomes through strategic account management.
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and a minimum of five years of customer success, strategic account management, or account management experience within healthcare, preferably working directly with hospitals, health systems, or healthcare providers, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven success driving customer retention, renewals, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), customer adoption, account growth, and customer satisfaction within complex healthcare accounts.
Executive presence with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence decision-making, facilitate presentations, negotiate effectively, and communicate with C-suite healthcare executives, clinical leaders, and key stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage a portfolio of strategic accounts from customer activation through adoption, retention, advocacy, renewal, and expansion while balancing multiple priorities and customer commitments.
Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with experience evaluating customer business needs, supporting contract negotiations, managing complex account strategies, and making sound business decisions.
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, along with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and the ability to effectively manage customer data, reporting, account planning, and performance metrics.
Ability to successfully work remotely and travel approximately 30% throughout the United States, including overnight travel, to support executive customer meetings, business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and other customer engagement activities.

Responsibilities

Own the long-term success of an assigned portfolio of strategic healthcare customers by driving customer retention, adoption, executive engagement, and account growth.
Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive customer retention, renewal success, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), adoption, account health, and long-term customer growth across an assigned portfolio of healthcare organizations.
Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, clinical leaders, and key decision-makers by leading regular business reviews, executive meetings, site visits, customer education sessions, and strategic planning discussions that align SONIFI Health solutions with customer objectives.
Drive adoption and value realization by helping customers maximize utilization of SONIFI Health's patient engagement platform, demonstrating measurable return on investment, and partnering with Clinical Consultants to optimize workflows, training, and clinical outcomes.
Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts by understanding customer business goals, uncovering additional needs, and partnering with Enterprise Sales Executives to support upsell strategies, account growth, and long-term revenue objectives.
Serve as the primary customer advocate by proactively managing account health, coordinating cross-functional resources, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring technical, operational, and customer success teams deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Maintain comprehensive account plans, customer health metrics, adoption data, risk assessments, and executive reporting while providing regular updates on customer activity, retention risks, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives to sales leadership.
Support contract negotiations, strategic business planning, and customer advocacy initiatives by leveraging financial analysis, customer insights, and healthcare industry knowledge to help customers maximize their investment while supporting SONIFI Health's long-term business objectives.
