About The Position

The Food Service Team Leader performs food service functions while maintaining state and federal health codes and providing exemplary customer satisfaction through a clean, friendly, and in-stock work environment. The role includes preparing Buc-ee’s foodservice offerings according to prescribed recipes, ensuring safe food handling, using POS and transaction devices, assisting customers, completing shift duty list tasks, and communicating responsively with store management and fellow associates. The position pays $20 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to concentrate, interact with others, work under stress, and come to work regularly and promptly.
Ability to work on the store’s busiest days.
Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night.
Ability to complete tasks effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Ability to walk or stand for 8–12 continuous hours.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, reach, balance, push, and pull, including ice carts with 50 or more 20-pound bags of ice.
Ability to lift product or material weighing 40 pounds or more.

Restaurant or retail experience preferred.
