About The Position

Provide excellent guest service through deli department activities. Prepare products for sale, maintain product quality and freshness, uphold sanitation standards, and support receiving and storage. The role also includes communicating guest requests and temperature breakdowns, keeping the supply area clean, performing front porch duties to maintain the guest arrival standard, and announcing specials and sale information over the PA system. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to read and understand information and direction.
Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
Prepare products for sale by frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing.
Maintain product levels, quality, and freshness.
Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area.
Communicate guest requests to management.
Communicate temperature breakdowns to a supervisor.
Keep the supply area neat, clean, and tidy.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Perform front porch duties to ensure the guest arrival standard is maintained.
Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
Assist with product receiving and storage.
