About The Position

Provide excellent guest service through activities in the deli department. Prepare products for sale, maintain product quality and freshness, and keep work and sales areas sanitary and organized. Assist guests, communicate with management and supervisors, and support receiving and storage.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to read and understand information and directions.
Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
Prepare products for sale by frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing.
Maintain product levels, quality, and freshness.
Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area.
Communicate guest requests to management.
Communicate temperature breakdowns to a supervisor.
Keep the supply area neat, clean, and tidy at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Perform front porch duties to ensure the guest-arrival standard is maintained.
Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
Assist with product receiving and storage.
