About The Position

Rosauers Supermarkets is hiring a Deli Associate to help create memorable deli experiences for customers. The role involves preparing customized sandwiches, salads, and other deli items, with attention to quality and detail. Associates also welcome customers, answer questions, help locate items, provide recommendations, maintain customer-facing displays, and keep work areas clean and ready to serve customers. The position follows company and regulatory food safety and sanitation procedures and includes cooperating with coworkers to support customer satisfaction and the company’s success.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience.
• Ability to facilitate clear, concise, and positive interactions with others.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Complete a pre-employment background check.
• Food Workers Card.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
• Answer customer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations.
• Update displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas to showcase new items and promotions.
• Clean surfaces, equipment, and floors, remove trash, and prepare work areas for serving customers.
• Follow company and regulatory food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties to support the overall success of the company.
• Craft customized sandwiches, salads, and other deli creations.
