About The Position

At Bank of America, the Delaware Trust Administrative Officer II (DE TAO II) teams with Delaware Trust Officers to manage fiduciary/trust relationships and meet client needs. This role serves as an additional point of contact for clients and/or as a backup for Delaware Trust Officers. The position involves performing servicing and account maintenance activities, primarily trust/fiduciary-related, including accounting transactions, deposits, and transfers. It also includes administrative duties such as typing, filing, and copying. This is a non-licensed associate role that acts as an administrative support resource. Over time, the position may also include secondary responsibilities for document review and interpretation, discretionary actions within Trust engagements, and client retention.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal policies and compliance to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent Trust administrative experience required.
  • Paralegal studies with relevant legal and/or trust administrative and fiduciary support experience preferred.
  • Financial Institution experience focusing on high-net-worth Private Banking client service a plus.
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Teams with Delaware Trust Officers to manage a book of fiduciary/trust relationships and meet client needs.
  • Serves as an additional point of contact to clients and/or as a backup for the Delaware Trust Officers.
  • Performs servicing and account maintenance activities, which are primarily trust/fiduciary-related that include PACE/Trust Web accounting transactions, deposits/transfers, etc.
  • Performs administrative duties such as typing, filing, copying, etc.
  • Acts as an administrative support resource and may also serve as a point of contact within the client relationship team for clients and/or as a backup for client-facing Trust Officers and other experienced Trust Administrative Officers.
  • Provides critical and core administrative client service and support (e.g., assistance with all aspects of account administration, funds transfers, tax requests, accounting system coding, letter generation, account open and close, phone coverage etc.,) to Trust Officers and Trust Administrative Officer IIs.
  • Over time, may include secondary responsibility for document review and interpretation, discretionary actions within Trust engagements, client retention, etc.
