About The Position

Elmet Technologies is hiring a Degreaser Operator to join their manufacturing team in Euclid, Ohio. This role involves operating industrial cleaning equipment to remove oils, residue, and other impurities from materials and products before they move to the next stage of manufacturing. Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, monitoring the cleaning process, inspecting finished work, maintaining accurate records, and troubleshooting equipment. The position requires dependability, attention to detail, and comfort with manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial cleaning, machine operation, or a similar hands-on environment
• Attention to details
• Ability to follow specific work and cleaning procedures
• Comfort working with industrial cleaning equipment and approved cleaning agents
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to recognize when equipment isn’t operating properly
• Clear communication with teammates and supervisors
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a production team
• Comfortable with the physical demands of an active manufacturing environment, including lifting and moving materials as required

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial degreasing and cleaning equipment
• Load and unload materials safely
• Monitor cleaning cycles and equipment performance
• Make basic machine adjustments to maintain an effective cleaning process
• Work with approved cleaning solutions according to established procedures
• Inspect cleaned materials to make sure they meet quality requirements
• Identify and report materials that don’t meet requirements
• Document cleaning operations and materials used
• Maintain accurate records for inventory and process-control purposes
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Help troubleshoot machine and process issues
• Work with teammates to resolve problems and improve the cleaning process
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and organized
• Follow established safety procedures when working with equipment and cleaning solutions
