Chemical Conversion Coater / Vapor Degreaser
About The Position
This role involves operating a vapor degreaser to clean parts and panels before coating, as well as performing standalone cleaning. The position also includes running chemical conversion coating (Type I & Type II) on IVD aluminum-coated parts. Responsibilities include racking, rinsing, water-breaking, drying, and documenting processes. Maintaining baths, personal protective equipment (PPE), and cell cleanliness are also key duties, with status hand-offs required at shift change. The job may involve working with ITAR articles, requiring awareness of U.S. person and export-control regulations. On-the-job training will be provided for shop certification in degreasing and conversion coating.
Requirements
- Full-shift standing.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- May work ITAR articles — U.S. person / export-control awareness as required.
