About The Position

Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals in support of our Department of Defense client. These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy. Our Guidehouse team will provide: Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures and DoD organizational structures Financial audit statements and audit readiness services Understanding of current trends in enhancing compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) Understanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems Financial Systems Enterprise Architecture support including: Project management support for initiatives including Intergovernmental Transactions (IGT) and Funds Balance with Treasury (FBWT) including Treasury Disbursing Office (TDO) and Non-TDO Daily efforts to ensure cash accountability and traceability Business Process Reengineering, Optimization, and Sustainment Strategic planning and communication support

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • TEN (10) years of government financial management support, including audits, audit readiness, remediation, and ICOFR
  • Knowledge of IGT, FBWT, or GTAS processes, with ability to apply DoD financial management policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
  • Bachelors and/or Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration
  • CPA, CIA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, or CDFM preferred
