About The Position

Eurofins Electrical and Electronics is expanding its Aerospace, Defense, and Military testing division and is seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join as a Defense and Aerospace Market Intelligence and Sales Associate. This is an entry-level position with significant potential for growth for the right candidate. This role is distinct from a typical inside sales position. The primary focus will be to serve as the intelligence hub for the defense sales team. This involves monitoring federal procurement activities, tracking defense programs, identifying potential testing opportunities, and ensuring that the Business Development Manager and Aerospace and Defense Sales Engineer are well-prepared for all client interactions. Additionally, the role will encompass traditional inside sales responsibilities such as generating quotes, managing the CRM system, following up with customers, and providing onsite customer support. The market research component for the defense sector is a key differentiator of this role and offers a unique opportunity for career advancement within the industry. The position is based in Baltimore, within the company's laboratory, which also serves as a location for defense customer witness testing and is home to a growing team of Principal Engineers and technical sales professionals.
