The Deer Creek Wax Trainer will be responsible for providing technical support, leadership, and continuous improvement to staff pertaining to the specific discipline all while ensuring that quality, safety, and production requirements are met. This role requires promoting safety first for all employees, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), good organization and people skills, and proficient computer skills. The trainer will coach and train others on production Wax techniques, ensuring work instructions are met, and identifying different learning styles to deliver training effectively. They will work in conjunction with supervision and the Deer Creek Training Coordinator to ensure training requirements are met and maintained, including auditing and evaluating trainee work, developing and modifying training plans, evaluating and updating training materials, developing and delivering exams, and maintaining accurate training records. The trainer will also ensure employees have the necessary tools, promote a harassment-free environment, work with limited direct supervision, work well under pressure, correct deficiencies, and notify appropriate parties of process variants. Flexibility on shift adjustment may be necessary for business and training purposes. The trainer will ensure quality requirements are followed, handle first-line performance issues, and notify supervision when further action is needed. The ability to evolve and learn new skills is essential, as is inspecting employee training parts for completion and Wax processes, and maintaining excellent attendance.
